Day 308: Traffic

 

Have you ever been stuck in traffic?? Sure you have.

The most dangerous part of I-65 runs through my neck of the woods. There was a terrible wreck the day I came home (after my sleepover).
I was in bumper to bumper traffic for most of the day. The bad part about wrecks around here is we don’t have a great place to divert the mass amounts of traffic we get. Both Northbound and Southbound traffic was detoured to the 2 lane highways.

It took me around 5 hours to take a trip that should have taken only 1.5 hours. Sadly, there were also 6 fatalities that day. Please be careful when you travel folks. If the speed limit says 70, please don’t hurry to your vacation so much that you don’t get to your destination. That is your PSA of the day.

I took this picture when the traffic Southbound was actually moving. The NB was still stock still. I chose to stick to the highways because I figured that everyone who had been detoured would be trying to make up their lost time and driving even more dangerously. Being stuck in moving and crawling traffic in a manual sucks so, so much.
